How long does it take to close on a house? House Under Contract, now what? Week 1

You're under contract - congratulations! Before you start celebrating, though, remember: we're only halfway home. Shopping for homes and finding your property was the fun part, but now we have to take it all the way to closing.

There are many other parties involved in the loan manufacturing process once you're under contract; they include the realtors, escrow officer, title rep, attorneys, inspectors, homeowner's insurance agents, and many more.
